Delivering Good in the Community

The Community Credits program provides nonprofit organizations with DoorDash gift cards in order to help them empower the communities they serve, reduce food insecurity as a barrier for their target audiences, and encourage participation in programs that expand access to opportunity.

Empowering Local Economies

DoorDash's mission is to grow and empower local economies. To accomplish that mission, we believe that everyone needs equal access to opportunity to reach their full potential. Over 70% of our partners use DoorDash gift cards to enhance their youth development, entrepreneurship, and workforce development programs. DoorDash gift cards have been an effective way to engage the community wherever they are in an increasingly virtual environment.

Supporting Immigrants and Refugees

DoorDash is partnering with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to provide meals and essentials to Afghan families and refugees resettling in the United States. In addition to donating $250,000 in Community Credits to the IRC, we’re inviting our customers and community to join the effort to welcome families with the most basic and urgent of human needs: food and shelter.

Broadening Vaccine Support & Access During Covid-19

Throughout the recovery and reopening phase of the pandemic, we teamed up with local, state, and national partners to support equitable vaccine outreach and access for communities who need it most.

How we can partner

Tell us how Community Credits can deliver good in your community.

The DoorDash Community Credits ensure that youth have access to warm meals for themselves and their families and guarantees that they won’t have to show up to school, work, or a job interview concerned with whether they will be able to eat dinner that night.

- Noelle Muñoz | Neon Program Supervisor

Delivery is so important, especially for people with disabilities and their families. People with special needs and their caretakers often rely on delivery to get their food, or as a way to earn income. In addition to providing a vital service, DoorDash supports community organizations in Los Angeles County and are good corporate partners in the communities they serve.

- Areva Martin, Esq. | Founder and President

DoorDash is one of the companies that shows through more than their words that they value our immigrant communities. They have shown through their actions and through their programs, such as Community Credits, and Kitchens Without Borders, that they support food accessibility for immigrants and refugees and will use their platform to help lift communities up.

- Angélica Salas | Executive Director

As an extension of our work at the intersection of culture, community and commerce, we are honored to provide DoorDash gift cards to frontline workers and the community most in need, remembering the life and legacy of service of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
